Off to a Good Start

I am now on my second scarf which I started yesterday, this time I am attempting a black and pale mint greent, stripey one. So far it is going well and it is soooooo much easier to knit right handed!!

In answer to Tempewytch's quation, I have about 10 balls of wool that need using up!! Hoping to knit some squares that will be turned into blankets for charity to get it all used up.

Will get round to adding pictures ASAP.

Will add pictures soon!!!

An Improvement

Just thought I'd let you all know that I am slowly getting there.

Due to moving from my own little flat into a spare bedroom I am having to get rid of a lot of my stuff.

Last night I went through all my crafting stuff and will be kindly donating a big box of wonderful things to my Aunty Lin who makes beautiful cards.

Whilst going through it all I came across my balls of wool and the scarf I was close to finishing. I put the scarf to one side and carried on sorting out my huge mess on my living room floor.I now have one big box full of crafting items to take with me when I move, so I can hopefully make a start on my mum's birthday present when I am all settled.

Once I could see my floor again, I settled on the sofa and had a go at my knitting, and I am proud to say I remembered how to do it and really enjoyed it.

Fingers crossed the scarf will be finished before I move!

Life Changing Desicion

I have been really quiet lately, not had chance to do any crafting for a long time as I've just not had it in me, which is very unusual for me.

After a lot of thought, I have decided to move to St Helens. I have a lot of amazing family there and now that my dad has taken a job in Saudi, I am pretty much all on my own where I live, due to one thing and another.

I am going to enrol at the college and do an evening photography course, I am looking for a new job, so fingers crossed something comes up. I am extremely lucky that one of my cousin's is letting me become a lodger to also help her out.

I have a really good feeling about it all, although I am scared out of my mind at actually doing it, but my hope is that I will be much happier there, so will start to enjoy all those things I love.

I thought I'd let you all know and to apologise for being so quiet and distant, I plan on being back soon and better than ever, as I still have a long list of crafts I need to complete.

Will keep you all updated on how my job search and move goes.
